The blending ratio of the yarn affects the appearance and wearing performance of the fabric, and it is also related to the cost of the product, so the blending ratio should be determined according to the use and requirements of the product.
1. The blending ratio of polyester and cotton in polyester/cotton fabrics should be 65:35. Although the wrinkle recovery and abrasion resistance of the fabric are significantly improved with the increase of the polyester blending ratio, the hygroscopicity and air permeability of the fabric gradually deteriorate, and the electrostatic effect also increases. However, if the outerwear fabric is required to be stiff, the proportion of polyester can be increased, and the underwear fabric should be comfortable to wear, and a low proportion of polyester-cotton blend can be used.
2. For medium and long fiber blended polyester/viscose fabrics, the blending ratio of polyester and viscose is often 65:35. If the viscose content exceeds 50%, the wrinkle recovery and morphological stability of the product will be deteriorated. If you can mix about 15% nylon in the polyester-viscose blended fabric, the fabric will be more wear-resistant.
3. The commonly used blending ratio of polyester and nitrile is 50:50, and 60:40 is also useful. The medium-length polyester/nitrile fabric has a good wool feel, but the static electricity phenomenon is more serious. With the increase of the acrylic fiber content, the strength, elongation, breaking work, wear resistance and other properties of the fabric will gradually decrease. When it exceeds 65% , the decrease is more significant.
